Lexi’s Blog

I'm Lexi!

I'm Lexi!

Hi! I’m Lexi!

A little bit about me…lets just say I LOVE flags, and everything that has to do with it’s history as well as any history! I also love shopping, which you will see that on some of posts lol. I’ve always been curious about anything related to flags though, therefore I created this blog to pass on my knowledge to you! Hopefully you find something interesting in here that you didn’t know before.

Follow my exclusive blog here on this site or select “lexi’s Flag Blog” to the right.

See a topic you’d be interested in hearing more about that I haven’t covered? I’d love to do some research on it for you! Anything that is a challenge is fun for me, so brain busters are welcome! Email me and we’ll see what I can find.

Lexi, aka “Ms. Vexi”

PS – if you don’t know what buzzword I’m going for with my “Vexi” alias check out this wiki article on “vexillology” and my alias might make a bit more sense. TTYS!

    • Lexi the Vexillologist Says:

The Dept. of Defense Directive says that the precedence of military flags is determined by service birthdays when displaying the flags together.
      From left to right:
      1. Army
      2. Marine Corps
      3. Navy
      4. Air Force
      5. Coast Guard *

*The Coast Guard moves up after Navy and before Air Force when the Coast Guard serves as a service of the Dept of the Navy in time of war.
